Jangareddigudem: Farmers under the auspices of AP Rythu Sangham released Rythu Manifesto here on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, the sangham district secretary Srinivas said that the political parties should include the demands of the farmers in their election manifestoes.
The state and central governments had ignored promises made in the previous elections. The Rythu Sangham has formulated the Rythu Manifesto in order to protect the farmer and save agriculture.
The governments should consider Swaminadhan Commission recommendations while announcing support price for the crops. A piece of legislation should be brought to free farmer from debts, he demanded.
A meeting of the farmers held to give wide publicity to the Rythu Manifesto by distributing pamphlets everywhere.
