Delhi: A one-off concept exclusively for the 2016 Auto Expo, new Honda Jazz Racing Concept, dressed in sporty colors of red and white graced Honda pavilion today at the Auto Expo. Based on the Jazz premium hatchback, the Racing Concept sported a host of sporty accents right from its body kit that included front bumper aprons and accents on its rear bumper to rear spoiler with carbon fiber and side skirts.

Given a lower stance as compared to the regular Jazz hatchback, Jazz Racing Concept also gets racing wheels, lower suspension and front and rear bumper accents. 5 spoke alloy wheels shod in Bridgestone Potenza racing tyres, fixed rear wing, single pipe exhausts and a red stripe vinyl all add to the sporty appeal on the Honda Jazz Racing Concept.

Interiors of Honda Jazz Racing Concept were noted to continue with a sporty makeover instantly appealing to target youth in the country. The concept bears a minimalist look and gets a roll cage and Recaro bucket racing seats while an Alcantara MOMO steering wheel is also present. The central console sports a kill switch while roll cage has been added for better protection.

Engine details include both petrol and diesel engines. The petrol engine is a 1.2 liter i-VTEC engine producing 88 PS power while the diesel engine is a 1.5 liter i-DTEC engine capable of 100 PS power. While the petrol engine is mated to a 5 speed manual and optional CVT, the diesel engine is mated to a 6 speed manual gearbox.
