2016 Geneva Motor Show to unveil Maruti S Cross facelift
Once unveiled, deliveries in Europe are expected to commence from June 2016.Known as Suzuki SX4 S-Cross in Europe and as Maruti S-Cross in India, the crossover is about to get a thorough makeover. Sketches of Maruti S-Cross facelift have emerged online which completely reveal the car’s front quarter and dashboard.

First launched in 2013, the S-Cross crossover has been designed and developed for consumers in Europe. But with demand for such crossovers on the rise in countries like India, Suzuki decided on introducing the car in more markets.
Due to get a mid-life facelift, 2016 Suzuki SX4 S-Cross will make public debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. After that, it is expected to go on sale in Europe by June 2016. India launch of the car is expected to take place next year where it will compete with Hyundai Creta, Renault Duster, and Nissan Terrano.
Leaked sketches of Maruti S-Cross facelift reveals its new bulkier stance. The front looks more SUVish than ever before. It gets redesigned headlamp structure with projector headlamps and LED DRLS. The octagonal front grille now gets 10 vertical chrome slats, with Suzuki badge in the centre. Circular foglamps encased in a trapezoidal structure and muscular bonnet lines add to the sporty look of the new car.
Also visible are silver skid plates under the lower bumper and on the side of the car. Plastic cladding on the side and wheel arches is also prominent along with new alloy wheel design.
Interior layout remains largely unchanged as seen in the image above. Though there seems to be a couple of technology and material updates, which will be detailed in Geneva next month.
