Launched in India at the Auto Expo last month, Jaguar XE is now on display at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.Jaguar has showcased its recently launched Jaguar XE 20d AWD at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, which is already looking as one of the most promising in the mid-size luxury sedan category. The new Jaguar XE has already received several accolades and awards globally.
The new Jaguar XE comes in five models: XE Pure, XE Prestige, XE Portfolio, XE R-Sport, XE S; while the powertrain range consists of 163 PS 2.0-litre diesel manual / automatic RWD; 180PS 2.0-litre diesel manual/ automatic RWD, automatic AWD; 200PS 2.0-litre petrol automatic RWD; 240PS 2.0-litre petrol automatic RWD; 340PS 3.0-litre petrol automatic RWD/ AWD.
The Jaguar comes a host of features, which make it stand apart in the market. The 180PS Ingenium diesel, 340PS supercharged V6 petrol engines and eight-speed automatic transmissions are equipped with All Wheel Drive (AWD), which in normal driving conditions sends all the torque to the rear axle, preserving the rear wheel drive dynamics while in demanding conditions, the torque is transferred to the front too.
Jaguar XE features InControl Touch Pro – the next gen Infotainment system that is packaged around a 10.2-inch Touchscreen, which offers endless connectivity with Wi-Fi Hotspot, apps for wearable Technology and intelligent navigation.
InControl Touch Pro is also enabled to provide exceptional audio performance too. Jaguar has tied up with British firm Meridian to equip the XE with world-class audio systems. There are two options on offer – A 380 W sound system with 11 speakers including a sub-woofer and an 825W sound system with 17 speakers and a sub-woofer.
The Jaguar XE is manufactured at Jaguar Land Rover’s Solihull Plant alongside the all-new F-PACE, and in India at the JLR India plant.
