Only 2,000 units of the special edition models will be sold in the country.The Hyundai i10 and i20 Go! special editions which were unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show last month have been launched in the UK. The hatchbacks celebrate Hyundai’s association with the UEFA Euro 2016 Championship that is set to be held in France.
The special edition cars are available exclusively in the colors that are found in the French national flag – red (Passion Red), white (Polar White) and blue (Aqua Sparkling Metallic). Only 2,000 units of the Go! special editions will be sold in the UK (1,250 units of i10 and 750 units of i20).
The i10 Go! receives the special Go! badging and addition features that are exclusive only to the Passion Red model. It sports front fog lights with LED daytime running lights, privacy glass and rub strips. The full-black interiors get contrast blue and white stitching, and leather wrapped multi-function steering wheel.
The special edition i20 Go! receives unique body colored trims for the AC vents and gear knob surround, grey-black interior, projector headlamps, privacy glass, rub-strips and Go! badging. Rest of the equipment level for both the cars are based on their respective SE trims.
The Hyundai i10 Go! is priced at 9,545 pounds (around INR 8.99 lakhs) while the i20 Go! retails for 11,545 pounds (around INR 10.88 lakhs).
