The 90 cc automatic scooter is claimed to return a FE of 65 kmpl.The 2016 TVS Scooty Pep Plus scooter which caters to the young female audience has been introduced with a few updates. The entry level automatic scooter features a tweaked engine which now adopts the EcoThurst branding.

The 87.8 cc four-stroke air-cooled engine continues to produce 5 PS and 5.8 Nm of torque. Mated to a CVT, the multi-curve ignition motor is claimed to return a fuel efficiency of 65 kmpl. Other noteworthy features include micro-alloy chassis, side stand alarm, and mobile charging socket.

Visually, the bodywork remains the same and the 2016 Scooty Pep Plus is available in 11 color themes grouped under four sets. The EcoSmart Series includes Nero Blue and Nero Silver themes. The Startlet Series is available in Gorgeous Grey (new color), Dazzling Blue, Frosted Black, Vivacious Purple, and Sassy Pink. Perky Pink, Passion Purple, and Blush Red themes constitute White N Whacky series. Finally, the Babelicious series is offered in Princes Pink shade.

The compact scooter is equipped with 110 mm drum brakes and both ends and a fuel tank capacity of 5 litres. Front telescopic fork and rear single-sided coil spring constitute the suspension system.

Positioned below the Scooty Zest 110, the Pep Plus is priced at INR 43,534 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The scooter is offered with a 5-year extended warranty. Customers from select cities can also avail 60 Minutes Express Service (scheduled maintenance).
