It is the company’s most exclusive model and will cost buyers in India INR 1.25 crores, ex-showroom, Delhi. The luxurious SUV goes on sale from today. Volvo India has stated that imports will be undertaken only against orders. Deliveries will commence from next week.
Volvo XC90 T8 Excellence is offered in two interior color schemes of black or beige. It receives most luxurious of interiors with individual seats with massage feature, ventilation cooling and heating and also pop up screens between the two seats.
Seats at the rear will be upholstered in choicest Nappa leather, will be electrically adjustable and will come in with a central arm rest. An in-car refrigerator or champagne cooler between the two rear seats will also be an added feature on this top end trim while crystal glasses, champagne flute holders will be seen in the refrigerator.
A glass partition between cabin and cargo area allows for a quieter cabin. Interior noise factor is further diminished due to the inclusion of Pirelli Noise Cancelling System tyres.
Volvo XC90 T8 Excellence will be powered by a 2.0 liter four cylinder supercharged and turbocharged engine offering 407 bhp power and 640 Nm torque mated to an electric motor. Acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph will be achieved in 5.6 seconds while top speed will stand at 230 kmph. The Drive-E powertrain will offer 5 driving modes allowing the driver to select the mode best suited to the circumstance.
