If you’re an existing Skoda customer and felt like stretching your budget by a couple of lakhs to upgrade to the Superb, then there’s good news for you. Skoda has launched a new Corporate variant of the Superb exclusively for existing Skoda customers at Rs 23.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
First of all, the Skoda Superb model range has a starting price of Rs 25.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the Style variant which is powered by the 1.8-litre turbo-petrol unit with the 6-speed manual gearbox. This new Corporate Edition is cheaper by Rs 2 lakh and gets the same powertrain which produces 180PS and 320Nm with a claimed fuel efficiency figure of 14.64kmpl. Skoda claims to be considering introducing an AT option for the Corporate Edition later this year depending on customer response. The Superb Corporate is not available with the diesel engine and Skoda has not shared whether it plans to offer the diesel engine with the Corporate variant or not.
While the Superb Corporate undercuts the Superb Style on the price chart, the safety equipment remains the same as the Style variant with 8 airbags, the multi-collision brake system and adaptive front lighting system. It also gets a rear-view camera.
In terms of comfort, the Corporate Edition is equipped with three-zone climate control, an 8-inch touchscreen display with proximity sensor and support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The infotainment unit also has BossConnect integrated with the Skoda Media Command app that allows the rear passenger to control radio, music and navigation functions.

The Superb Corporate is, however, only available in two of the four colour choices with the Superb: Candy White and Magnetic Brown; while missing out on Business Grey and Black Magic. While the Corporate gets a host of equipment that the Style also gets, Skoda is yet to share a detailed feature list for the Corporate.
For now, the Corporate looks like it falls short of the Style in terms of exterior colours on offer, but it does look like the more logical choice against the latter as far as outright value is concerned for existing Skoda owners.
The Superb Corporate Edition also gets Skoda’s 4 year service package which includes 4-year warranty, 4-year roadside assistance and an optional 4-year maintenance package. It makes for an appealing deal for existing Fabia, Rapid, Yeti, Laura or Octavia owners who were planning to upgrade to a car around the Rs 25 lakh mark.
