Parents Donate their 2 Year Old’s Organs
Inspite of great misery, the parents of a 2 year old decided to donate the organs of their son who died this morning at a hospital in Bengaluru. The buy’s heart is being flown on a special plane to Chennai where doctors will attempt to transplant it into another young child.
BENGALURU: Inspite of great misery, the parents of a 2 year old decided to donate the organs of their son who died this morning at a hospital in Bengaluru.
The buy’s heart is being flown on a special plane to Chennai where doctors will attempt to transplant it into another young child.
The Bangaluru police had assigned 25 men to ensure a signal-free ride for the ambulance from the hospital to the airport, a distance of two kilometers. The heart was then air-lifted to the Chennai airport to reach Fortis Hospital in Chennai, where the police has also configured a special route to ensure no delays.
The heart is expected to complete its inter-state journey in less than four hours.
The parents ,grief stricken, agreed to donate the boy’s organs said the doctors.
