Big Billion Day sale on Flipkart: Deals

Popular ecommerce portal Flipkart has launched the biggest sale. Called the Big Billion Day sale, the portal is offering its customers products at throwaway prices.

The sale began at 8am on 6 October (Monday).

Sachin and Binny Bansal wrote a mail to their customers stating the sale was to celebrate Flipkart's successful journey in the e-commerce segment.

On its website, the website claimed that several gadgets like Nokia Lumia 525, Samsung Galaxy Tabs and Kodak cameras were sold out minutes after the sale was launched at 8am this morning. Lumia 525 was sold at 90% discount while Kodak cameras were sold at just Rs 1195. Galaxy Tab 2 was on offer at Rs 1390 while Karbonn Mobile A5i was sold at Rs 99.

Its most popular mobile offerings – Moto E, Moto G, Moto X and the latest sensation Redmi 1S- are still available at huge discounts. Motorola's exclusive tie-up with Flipkart also changed the rules of the game by offering quality hardware from a reputed brand at supercheap prices.
