“The new global development centre in Hyderabad will cater to the global development, implementations and 24X7 support needs for Hitachi Solutions’ customers across America, Europe, Canada and Asia Pacific. It will result in the addition of 200 new positions in Telangana,” said Ananth Subramanian, CEO & Managing Director, and Hitachi Solutions India.

This centre will focus on technologies including Microsoft Dynamics AX, Dynamics CRM, and related Microsoft SharePoint and SQL BI solutions, he added. “The India strategy has become integral for Hitachi Solutions Group and this expansion will supplement our global expansion. Delivery capacity is needed for our large-scale growth in next few years and will require dedicated investment in capability,” said Mike Gillis, President and Global COO, Hitachi Solutions America.

We continue to see India as one of the best destinations for expansion, he added. The new GDC will also be extending support to Hitachi Solutions India’s already successful academic initiative in Hyderabad, which partners with the engineering colleges and business schools in and around Hyderabad to provide students with the opportunity to develop Microsoft Dynamics skills.
