Synchrony plans to scale up operations in Hyderabad

Synchrony Financial, a US-based consumer financial services company, is planning to expand its operations in Hyderabad. As part of this strategic investment plan for Telangana, the company has signed an agreement to lease more than 200,000 sft of office space in Knowledge City, Hyderabad.

As part of this strategic investment plan for Telangana, the company has signed an agreement to lease more than 200,000 sft of office space in Knowledge City, Hyderabad.
The Hyderabad site supports the Synchrony Financial business by providing contact centre solutions, fraud investigation support, process control monitoring as well as finance, analytics and IT support.
Synchrony Financial, which already has a presence in the city at iLabs, is expected to occupy the new office between July and August 2017. “We have a roadmap for strategic expansion for our site here in Hyderabad and this expansion supports our strategy.
We have tremendous talent in India, especially in Hyderabad, and are thankful for the support and strong relationship with the Telangana government as we work through the expansion,“ Kurt Grossheim, Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer at Synchrony Financial, said in a statement on Monday.
