Hyderabad: Allahabad Bank recently opened its contact centre at Madhapur in Hyderabad, with further plans to open a 24x7 centre. The bank official said the activities of the contact centre will be expanded in phased manner to cover the entire gamut of banking operations.
“It will help in cross-selling and up-selling the portfolio of products and services for revenue generation, capitalising on marketing opportunities outside traditional geographic markets, offering targeted promotions for different audiences, to make reminder calls to customers on the overdue loans among others,” the official added.
Informing further in a press statement, the bank said the contact centre will provide information related to general and account queries on products and services of the bank along with third party products, ATM-debit card specific complaints, enquiry on basic banking services and transactions, customer query on TDS-tax payments details, service requests, and queries on internet, mobile banking, SMS andtele banking, UPI, BHIM.
