Tirupati: TTD Chairman K Bapiraju inaugurated the Continuous Medical Education (CME) programme on Panchakarma and Dravyaguna at SV Ayurvedic Hospital, Tirupati on Monday morning. The main objective of the CME programme is to update the knowledge of Ayurveda to the medical officers, working in Ayurvedic dispensaries and hospital and also the Ayurvedic private practitioners, so that the fruits of research being carried out in Ayurveda and various projects and campaigns, being undertaken by the Department of Ayush, can reach the Ayurvedic practitioners, in turn better services can reach the patients. TTD JEO P Venkatarami Reddy, SVIMS Director Dr Vengamamba, Prof RH Singh from Banaras Hindu University, SV Ayurvedic Hospital Superintendent Dr V Parvathi, SV Ayurvedic College Principal Dr Rajaiah, Medical Officers working in Government Ayurvedic Dispensaries, PHC's and Hospitals from various parts of the country such as Mizoram, Chennai, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu were present.
