J&K governor offers prayers

Tirumala: Jammu & Kashmir Governor Narinder Nath Vohra accompanied by wife offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala temple on Saturday morning. On his arrival at Srivari temple, priests and officials have welcomed the Governor with temple honours and led to the sanctum sanctorum. Later, he offered prayers to the presiding deity of Lord Venkateswara, Vakula mata, Ananda Nilayam Vimana Venkateswara, Bhashyakarla Sannidhi and Yoga Narasimha Swamy in the sanctum sanctorum. After that, Vedic pundits rendered Vedasirvachanam to the delegates at Ranganayakula Mandapam. Later, TTD Chairman K Bapiraju and JEO KS Sreenivasa Raju offered prasadams to the Governor and his entourage. Deputy EOs Chinnamgari Ramana, Venkataiah, OSD Damodar and other officials were also present.
