Mohan Babu announces award in father's name

Veteran actor Dr M Mohan Babu, who bereaved with the death of his father Manchu Narayana Swamy Naidu aged 95, is in no mood to celebrate his birthday which falls on Tuesday (March 19). The veteran actor released a statement urging his fans to not to come to Tirupati as there will not be any jubilations unlike every year. The 'Pedarayudu' star, who is turning 61 tomorrow, is set to pay tribute to his late father. He has constituted an award to best teachers in elementary section in the name of his father Manchu Narayana Swamy Naidu who was a teacher by profession. The award also carries a cash-prize. Mohan Babu himself is an educationist who heads Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Trust which has International School, Degree College, Engineering College, Pharmacy College, College of Nursing, Management college and College for Post Graduation Studies.
