Telugu film industry veterans Dasari Narayana Rao, Jamuna and Nandamuri Balakrishna inaugurated a new building for the Andhra Pradesh Film Industry Federation on Wednesday. Named as ‘NTR Cine Karmika Bhavanam’, it is located at Venkatagiri in Hyderabad.

Speaking during the occasion, Dasari Narayana Rao said, “I am glad that a long awaited dream finally came true, thanks to contribution by the industry people.” He lauded Jamuna for donating Rs 50,000 for the purpose. He said that Telugu Industry Federation is among the most disciplined federations in India.
Actress Jamuna said that she has immense respect for technicians and workers in the industry. “It is because of their hard work that we managed to do well in movies”, she added. She then recalled how she had hosted a special dinner reception to all the technicians and workers after her wedding. “All the workers were so happy that they gifted me a silver idol of Lord Balaji”, she recollected. She even showed off her All India Federation Badge to them.
Balakrishna said, “I am very happy for two reasons. One is because our Basavatarakaram Cancer Hospital has been declared as the best in Andhrapradesh. Second is because everyone came together to build this structure which bears the name of my father. I promise to lend moral and financial support in future”, he assured.
Movie Moghul Ramanaidu and producer Shyam Prasad who joined others a little latter inaugurated the second floor of the building and donated Rs 1 lakh each for further renovations for the building.- KSK
