Madhu Balakrishna (Arya) is a generous person. Ramya (Anushka Shetty) falls in love with him at the first sight. Ramya proposes to him, but he rejects her love. Later, Madhu realizes the love of Ramya and starts falling behind her, but it’s already too late as she accepts a marriage proposal. This story is all about whom Ramya chooses.

Past life experiences and love are seen in this film

The computer graphics look mostly unimpressive unless the viewer wants to give grace points for the effort made by the actor. The overall output is a far cry from what our audience may have already experienced in scores of Hollywood movies that releases every week.
Undoubtedly, Selvaraghavan has the courage and conviction in his works. This movie could have been an out-of-the-world experience had he executed it right.
The film has a little bit of everything from the serious philosophical quotient to some extent and so called action chapter – no suitable chemistry, romance of gore. For all those who are used to watching historical, the fairy-tale that leave you spellbound, Varna could end up as a joke, at best.
Arya is stiff faced in Mahendra’s character and tries to portray his emotions in another role. Similarly Anushka has lived in her role as Ramya, but failed to live in the character of Varna. The rest of the characters are not given much priority Cinematography by Ramji is very ordinary.
Especially shots in another world were very dim.
Harris Jayaraj music is not up to his standards as song picturisation is shot with casual choreography.
Must say Anirudh Ravichander BGM is the major asset of the movie. Especially BGM in the scene where Arya fights with mysterious animal and Interval sequence receives a special mention.
Varna is an not appealing film to the audience.
