Prince Mahesh Babu's 1 Nenokkadine is back in news. No, we are not telling you when the music launch will be held. This is got to do with something else.
It is learnt that the theatrical rights of Mahesh's 1 Nenokkadine has been sold to Eros International for a whopping sum of money. Insiders say it's close to Rs 70 crores. An official announcement is yet to confirm this news.
Eros is a motion picture production and distribution company which has a good hold over market across India.
The movie which is set to hit theatres around Pongal is in its post production stage. The film stars Mahesh Babu and kriti Sanon in the lead roles.
1 Nenokkadine is directed by Sukumar. Musical sensation Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music for the first time in Mahesh Babu's film.
It's worth mentioning here that Mahesh's earlier movie Athidi which starred Bollywood babe Amrita Rao did not do well. Mahesh's fans blamed it on UTV Motion Pictures which had the distribution rights.
Now, with Eros acquiring the rights, can it do justice?
