Bharani on silver trishul
Tanikella Bharani who had worked with the actor for more than 25 years said, “Director Teja would never do a film without both of us. He was not just a brilliant actor, but a wonderful singer too. I would always ask him to play flute as he was very good at it”. “He gifted me a silver trishul which I will treasure all my life,” added Tanikella.
Kondavalasa remembers
“The news of his death was shocking not just for him, but for the entire Telugu film fraternity and the audience. Known for his impeccable dialogue delivery and mannerisms, Dharmavarapu is a man of profound knowledge on anything and everything”, he added. “He was an amazing artiste, voracious reader, spell bounding orator and above all, a wonderful human being” said Kondavalasa. “His ‘Anando Brahma,’ a popular comedy series was such a big hit that he gets a royalty for that programme even today” he added. Dharmavarapu will always be remembered as a composed actor with a friendly demeanour.
“I have spent some time and got to know him personally when we were shooting for ‘Evarigola Vaaridi’. His amazing command over language, his effortless comedy timing and above all his heart warming personality is what makes him stand out. Dharmavarapu was actively involved in politics too and just when he was making a mark there, we lost him” lamented Kondavalasa.
Blessed with impeccable dialogue delivery
