Superstar Rajinikanth, the person who can make the impossible possible. We have often heard jokes that glorify this superstar who is known the world over. However, at times people go overboard to please their star.

Rajini himself laughs at his jokes. However, perhaps he may not take too kindly to the latest one being passed around in the internet circles.

While the actor celebrated his 63rd birthday last week quietly, his fans went into a frenzy conducting various activities to mark the occasion.

Prayers for the well being of the actor, blood donation camps, free distribution of food were some of them. All this was done with noble intentions no doubt.

Meanwhile, an overenthusiastic fan who wanted to please Rajini and also dying to see his icon turn political leader created a poster with the most controversial caption in Tamil which translates to: “Even gods would cast their vote, if you come to politics.”

Obviously this has angered the Vishwa Hindu Parishad a great deal resulting in a complaint being filed against those responsible for the poster.

Folks, it's okay to do some idol worship. But to avoid trouble, it helps to respect the religious sentiments of people.
