Mahesh's 1 Nenokkadine poster: Kriti Vs Samantha

Mahesh Babu is looking forward to his much-hyped film 1 Nenokkadine. While the promotional activities are on in full swing, the controversy surrouding the film's poster refuses to die down.

Sometime back when the makers of 1 Nenokkadine released the new poster of the film, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu expressed her displeasure over the poster saying it was regressive. While her rumoured boyfriend Siddharth came out in support of her comments, Mahesh Babu's fans were left fuming who waged a virtual war with the actress.

Renowned director Shekar Kammula also backed Samantha on her comment. However, prince Mahesh Babu said the poster didn't mean to cause disrespect to women, the poster is taken from a song and people will understand this only if they watched the entire song.

Now, it's the turn of Mahesh's leading lady Kriti Sanon to hit back at Samantha. Kriti said: “The poster is very innovative and shows a creative decision. There is nothing to do with the respect of women. In fact, the poster is just a part of a song and once you watch it you will get to know that it’s not disrespecting women in any manner. The lyrics of the song demand that posture and I did it.”

Now, now folks wait till the movie hits the screens we will know better right?
Mahesh's 1 Nenokkadine directed by Sukumar will release in theatres on January 10.
