A slice of life, About Manchu Lakshmi's Chandamama Kathalu, Manchu Lakshmi. Eight threads/plots/stories, interwoven and intercut, take you on a journey through poverty, deception, glamour.
‘Routine Love Story’ fame director Praveen Sattaru who is helming the ‘Chandamama Kathalu’ believes the USP of his film is the apodictic situations and philosophical facts, which hide behind a mask of casual conversation and real life actions.
“Eight threads/plots/stories, interwoven and intercut, take you on a journey through poverty, deception, glamour, greed, affluence, conjugality, hope and bard........., travelling from the slums to the affluent hills, from adolescence to retirement and from ignorance to arrogance in contemporary Hyderabad,” he adds.
Featuring Aamani, Sai Kumar, Naresh, Lakshmi Manchu, Krishnudu, Chaitanya Krishna, Shamili, Prithivi, Richa Panai and Soumya in prominent roles, the film, which has completed its shooting, is scheduled to release next Friday. Audio by Mickey J Meyer will be unveiled later this week.
