Renowned Telugu director Shekar Kammula was last in news for backing actress Samantha on her tweet against Mahesh Babu's 1 Nenokkadine trailer. The film-maker drew a lot of flak for supporting Samantha.
Kammula is back in news now. This time, however, it's for the right reasons. It's a known fact that Shekar is working on the remake of the hit Vidya Balan film Kahaani which also earned her a lot of acclaim.
The trailer of Shekar's Anamika which sees Nayanthara reprising the role of Vidya, was recently released online. The response has been overwhelming.

Shekar had earlier revealed that the film will hit theatres around Dasara this year.
