The news that the second season of ‘Satyamev Jayate’ is going to kick off on March 2 is an old one. But the latest in relation to the TV series is that Aamir Khan, the anchor of the programme, has ordered for himself a bullet proof
Wonder why? The buzz is that during the first season of the show, Aamir had received threats after a few of his episodes were aired. At that time, he was provided with police protection.
However, we hear that his family and friends have insisted that he pay extra heed, and be vigilant, and so Aamir Khan has booked this car.
‘Satyamev Jayate’ is set to be aired a few days before the general elections, seemingly a right time to elevate the public’s knowledge on social issues.
Meanwhile the Aamir Khan, Anushka Sharma, Sanjay Dutt and Sushant Singh Rajput starrer ‘P.K’s release date has changed from June to December. While nobody knew the reason behind this sudden change, the ‘Dhoom:3’ baddie while talking to leading Mumbai tabloid revealed, “Director Raju Hirani wanted to spend more time on the editing which is why the release was pushed to December. Besides, some portions with Sanju (Sanjay Dutt) are yet to be shot.” Since the Munnabhai actor is out on parole, we hope he completes shooting for his part. After all, we don’t want ‘P.K’ to release next year.
