Real training happened with Khaleja, Dookudu

Says actor Krishna Maadhav who is debuting with ‘Hrudayam Ekkadunnadi’. Cousin to Mahesh Babu’s entrepreneur brother-in-law Jay Galla, he talks about how he interacted with students across the State to promote his movie

For an actor who has no great background to rely on, it is difficult to pull people to theatres and Krishna Maadhav, lead actor in ‘Hrudayam Ekkadunnadi’, understands it. Hence he has done his bit by talking about his film to the people of the State. He visited colleges and universities across Warangal, Guntur, Vijayawada, Tanuku, Tadepalligudem, Visakhapatnam and interacted with students. “We required ten times the promotions of big hero-starrers. My character Maadhav in the film is a confused soul when it comes to making personal decisions and I’ve noticed the same confusion in students while interacting with them. I even had a ‘Q&A’ session with them and clarified some of their queries,” smiles the actor.

Real Training Happened With Khaleja, Dookudu, Hrudayam Ekkadunnadi

Trained in acting at Chicago, the actor says his real training was on the sets of ‘Khaleja’ and ‘Dookudu’ where he worked as an assistant director. “I observed Mahesh, who I admire a lot, from very close quarters. I learnt his preparation on sets and how he takes his performance to the next level in dubbing. I’ve carried Trivikram and Sreenu Vaitla’s inputs too into my film,” he points out.

Speaking about his film, which is narrated by God of Love, Manmadhudu, he shares that it’s a romantic entertainer about an architect. “I’m in love with a girl, but another girl sweeps me off my feet. Human mind craves for more and my character is built on such lines. I’m a confused person even in my real life too,” he says, smiling. What’s one piece of advice that Mahesh has given to him? “He is a spontaneous actor and asked me to trust my instincts,” he signs off, adding that he will be arranging a special screening for the Superstar just before the film hits the theatres on Saturday. Anand who worked as assistant to AR Murugadoss has helmed the flick.
