Telugu actor Sivaji enters BJP

Telugu actor Sivaji decided to join the saffron party on Thursday. Sivaji joined BJP at BJP's office in Hyderabad in the presence of veteran party leader Venkaiah Naidu.

Later, speaking to media persons, the actor said: "Country comes first. India needs Modi and there is no dynastic politics in BJP."

He also took the opportunity to thank his fans for giving him so much adulation. He said he was able to reach this position only because of Telugu people.

Does it mean the actor would dedicate his time to politics alone? The answer is a big No as Sivaji was quick to add that he will continue to act in movies and that his political entry is aimed at only social service.
