Balayya's Legend movie review, rating
After much dilly-dallying, Nandamuri Balakrishna's much awaited film Legend hit theatres on Friday. Before we tell you reasons to watch or not watch the movie, let's take a look at the production crew.

Legend opens with the introduction of villain Jitendra played by Jagapathi Babu. Then it heads to Dubai, where the character of Balakrishna is introduced through a SUV chase scene in a desert. The director manages to engage the viewers with some action, comedy, romantic, family drama and songs sequences and punch dialogues in the first half of the movie. With an emotionally-charged interval, Legend picks up the speed. Some political-charged punch dialogues, fights between Balakrishna and Jagapathi Babu and a few sentimental scenes keep you glued to the screen in the second half. Climax is also good, but predictable. The format of the film is somewhat similar to Simha. The film lacks freshness in treatment of subject.

The Movie starts with Jagapathi Babu's introduction... then ….Kalyani is introduced…for the first time ever Jagapathi Babu played a villain. His name is Jeetendra. Now the movie shifts to Dubai……The film has taken a sad turn. Suman has come into the film as a village head. …..Balakrishna has just been introduced in a powerful way in Dubai. Desert SUV chase scene is wonderful…..Sonal Chauhan has been introduced in a very stunning manner. Time for the 'Time Bomb' song. Balakrishna attempted good steps, as usual…..Wow!! now Brahmanandam has come in as Manakya, Balakrishna's guru…..Now the scene shifts back to India from Dubai. Jagapathi Babu played well as a villain….Fight begins between Balakrishna and Jagapathi Babu's gang in Visakha.. Balakrishna's family in India has been introduced. Rau Ramesh and Sitara have been introduced….'Thanjavuru Bomma', a family song is played….. Sonal Chauhan is looking pretty…After some attempts at comedy from Brahmanandam, Hamsa Nandini's 'Lasku Tapa' song is played now... The songs are presented at very small intervals…A big fight has broken out between Balakrishna and Jagapathi babu, under unforeseen penalty. Now it is time for the entry of other (second) Balakrishna to enter….leqads for interval…first half will surely entertain fans... But situation has changed with an emotionally charged interval with arrival of second Balakrishna….his characterization is very prevailing. Movie resembles Simha movie of Bala Krishna. Now, it is time for the popular song 'Legend'. Balakrishna…..Radhika Apte is introduced as Balakrishna's sister in law... Censoring of dialogues is palpably seen at various instances, might be bowing to sensor instructions…Sentimental scenes between Radhika Apte and her family are recital…. A romantic track between Balakrishna and Radhika Apte has led to the 'Nee Kanti Choopullo' song...A big fight between Balakrishna and Jagapathi Babu 's gang has been shot at a railway station.
