However, recently there was news that Mahesh had opted out of Mani's project. The reason we hear is that Mahesh was tired of waiting for shooting dates.
It's a known fact that it's a multi-starrer project for which Shruti Haasan has been finalised as one of the female leads. The hunt is still on for other characters which is delaying the project.
This eternal wait is what put Mahesh in a fix as he has been flooded with other equally lucrative offers. What could he do than to walk out of Mani's projects.
Mahesh's fans may be disappointed but Akkineni fans are still happy as Nagarjuna is still a very much a part of the Mani project.
The last time the duo worked together was in Geetanjali which set benchmarks in southern cinema. We hope the same happens with this movie too.
