Anjali is Geethanjali

‘Geethanjali’ has been registered as the title for Anjali’s new movie which is being helmed by debutante Raj Kiran. A horror-comedy, ace writer Kona Venkat has penned the script for the film. “Anjali's role in ‘Geethanjali’ shall be remembered forever by every Telugu audience. Sai Sreeram is the cinematographer of our movie,” said Kona, taking to Twitter. Currently progressing in and around Hyderabad, the film also stars Brahmanandam, Rao Ramesh, Srinivas Reddy, Madhu Nandan and Shakalaka Shankar in supporting roles. MVV Sathyanarayana is producing the film under the MVV Cinema banner while Praveen Lakkaraju is rendering tunes. It is also buzzed that Anjali would pair up with comedian Srinivas Reddy for a new film which will mark Kona Venkat’s entry as a director.
