Sidharth Malhotra on panga with Aditya Kapoor. I am happy playing different types of roles. In fact, every actor loves to do different roles.

Sidharth Malhotra may be just three films old; But undeniably, he is been on the hit list of media. In a brief chit-chat with The Hans India, he answers a volley of questions

Grey shades: I am happy playing different types of roles. In fact, every actor loves to do different roles. I feel happy that directors/producers can perceive me in different look. I have a totally rugged look in Ek Villain. Indeed, it is Mohit Suri who thought I could fit into the pre-crime sequences as well as post crime sequences aptly. Mohit is fond of making those painful scenes with great involvement therefore he expects his actors too to put in his best. Performing scenes which requires me to have a heavy heart definitely takes a toll on me. Even emotional scenes require the same effort. Experimenting with different characters and looks helps motivate oneself.

Favorite Villain: I loved Mr India film. I have seen the film many a times. Also Mogambo is my favorite villain. I would always love to watch Amrish Puri’s acting so I would never like to miss his films.

On comparisons with Amitabh Bachchan: I feel humbled to be compared to Amitji. He is a living legend. But for me, it is too early to judge myself. I am just thee films old. I have a long way to go. Personally, "Mere Haath Paair Lambe Hai. [Hands/legs are as long as him] so they compare me with him. I feel nice though. I will have to work hard to reach his level.

On real incidents: My life has been a smooth sail. When I had to perform action sequences, I would remember how my friends would have troubled me. I refreshed all those sour memories when I was hurt by my parents and teachers. This helped me bring out my anger to the maximum. I showcased my anger with conviction. I am sure it will transfer rightly onto the minds as well as the hearts of the audiences. They will, hopefully appreciate it.

On Alia: Alia is my first heroine. We share so many similar things like first film, first day of shoot. I am very emotional about Alia as we started together. She makes everything seems simple. She is not at all conscious about anything. She does not feel ashamed of speaking her heart out. Alia is a fun loving person. We keep teasing her on her style of speaking-freaky voice tone in which she usually speaks.

On Parineeti: We both share a lot many things in common. We are both Punjabis. I belong to Delhi, while she is from the neighbouring Ambala. Both of us are foodies we both love to laugh and joke. But on the sets, we are as serious as anyone else. Compared to Alia, Parineeti is focused, determined and also wiser.

On Shraddha: She is slightly different, not very serious. She is goofy and comical. She is yet to come to terms with reality. Having tasted success, she gets carried away. I remember she got so excited while audiences started chanting her screen name Aarohi. We have great respect for each other having worked together in Ek Villain.

On panga with Aditya Kapoor Yes! There is smoke without fire. (smiles) Aditya and I are good pals. Just yesterday we met and we were discussing on the new bike that he has purchased recently. I am not aware of any thing which is stated in the media reports. I guess! It is the figment of some journalist's mind. We share a good rapport. My link up stories are indeed interesting. But whenever I get into a relationship, I shall disclose it openly.
