Mani Sharma, one of the best music composers of South India, needs no introduction due to his vast popularity among the folks. He scored music for more than 100 movies beginning his supposedly first song composition for the movie Antham, directed by Ramgopal Varma that was released in 1992-93. At the present, News making rounds about Mani Sharma - not about his new movie compositions - but regarding a case of land-grabbing which has been filed against him in a Chennai police station.
It appears that Mani Sharma owns some land near Chennai. However, the appellant alleged that Mani illegally grabbed 73 cents of land adjoining to his own plot claiming that it belongs to him. Based on the complaint received from the victim, a case has been booked against Mani, reportedly.
It is learnt that Mani however dodged the arrest by locking an anticipatory bail. No comment on this issue has been received from Mani Sharma as of now!!
