Silk Smitha's last call before death

It's a known fact that Southern Sexy siren Silk Smitha was an item girl in movies. However, her oomph quotient continues to inspire many heroines of today. In fact, there were several film-makers who wanted to make movies on her life. Not many succeeded though.

Vidya Balan was lucky enough to reprise the role of Silk in her biopic Dirty Picture. Now, we hear that a Marathi movie too is being made on the late Southern actress.

Incidentally, veteran Kannada actor and producer V Ravichandran recalled Silk Smitha's discipline on the sets during the making of Halli Meshtru. Silk played a sexy village teacher in the movie and her song was a super hit. There was one point Ravi mentioned that caught our attention. On a popular Kannada TV Chat show with actor Ramesh Arvind, Ravichandran said that his only regret was that he missed Silk Smitha's last call to him just before her death.

It's a known fact that Ravichandran is an actor with a huge heart. One wonders what Silk would have wanted to share with Ravi before she decided to end her life. Did she think Ravichandran would help her?

The actor was in the midst of a shoot when the call came and that's how he missed her call. Had he answered her call, would it have changed her destiny?
