Police have started their routine investigation into the sex racket case involving popular film star and national award winner Shweta Basu Prasad.
Hyderabad: Police have started their routine investigation into the sex racket case involving popular film star and national award winner Shweta Basu Prasad. They are probing the case from different angles, including investigating on allegations laid by Shwetha herself, according to the police. The 23-year-old actress is understood to have revealed more than needed to the cops investigating the case.
There are rumours that when the actress was waiting for acting opportunities there were some forces that persuaded her to take up prostitution. Meanwhile, some others allege that the actress herself had taken to flesh trade to bail out her family of financial troubles. It is learnt that as soon as Shweta was caught, many high profile people who had already spent their time with the actress are more than scared and nervously waiting for the actress' revelations. Meanwhile, Hansal Mehta, director and screenwriter, best known for his film 'Shahid' for which he won the 2013 National Film Award, has urged the authorities to ‘expose’ the ‘clients’ of the national award winning performer.
“I intend to offer Shweta a role in my next film. She was so good in Makdee,” Mehta posted on Twitter.
