Another award for Balu

Rasamayi which honours the best in music in the name of late composer Saluri Rajeshwara Rao has chosen singer Balasubrahmanyam for Rasamayi – Saluri Talent Award this year. The award ceremony will be held on Oct 25 at Ravindra Bharathi in the city. High Court chief justice Narasimha Reddy will attend the event as the chief guest while KI Varaprasad Reddy (Shantha Biotechnics chief), C Narayana Reddy, Saluri Koti, Saluri Vasurao and Saluri Purnachandra Rao will be the guests of honour. The occasion will also see the unveiling of the book, ‘Lalitha Sangeethaniki Pattabhishekam’, penned by writer and Rasamayi president MK Ramu.
