The 41-second-long teaser features Rajinikanth in a casual heroic avatar. Though the actor is aging, his charm and mannerisms still pack a punch. Within minutes of the teaser’s release, it went viral on social networking sites.
Hashtags #SuperstarLingaaTeaser and #lingaateaser also began to Trend on Twitter. The movie seems to be no different from KS Ravikumar's earlier movies as the teaser is loaded with commercial elements, which strikes the chord instantly. Named after Rajinikanth's grandson (Dhanush and Aishwarya's son), the movie is slated to release on December 12. Anushka and Sonakshi Sinha are paired opposite Rajini.
