Aditi Rao to play Rekha in ‘Fitoor’

Bollywood actress Aditi Rao Hydari is all set to play the younger version of Rekha in Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Fitoor’, which is the Bollywood adaptation of the Charles Dickens’ novel ‘Great Expectations’.

The story of the film centers on a young Kashmiri boy Noor played by Aditya Roy Kapoor and his muse Firdaus played by Katrina Kaif. Rekha will be seen playing the role of Miss Havisham and the younger Miss Havisham will be played by Aditi Rao Hydari.

Director Abhishek Kapoor is very excited about the project and revealed, “‘Fitoor’ is a story of grand passion, beauty and love. The entire team is charged about what it promises to be. We’re inspired to go all-out and give it our best.”

The first schedule of the movie was supposed to start in Kashmir, but due to the floods, it will now begin in Mumbai later this month and further parts of the movie will be shot in Delhi and London. Speculations are rife that Ajay Devgn will play a cameo in the film.
