10 Worst Bollywood Films of 2014

Highlights

2014, for the Hindi film industry has not been very eventful. Most of the movies, and we literally mean most of them merely scraped through the theaters. Whether the Overly ambitious directors or the no-substance scripts are to be blamed the industry must decide. The quality of movies is plunging. All that the movies are filled with, are totally impractical and unreasonable action scenes with 100’s of men flying around and a few liters of red ink splattered all over. What have increased are the catchy, upbeat often sexually provocative item songs. Is this what the audience wants? Are Bollywood movies merely reduced to 5 songs, 10 action scenes and a foggy story line? 2015 please prove us wrong. #optimism Here are 10 movies released this year that left us half retarded.

Here are 10 movies released this year that left us half retarded.
HUMSHAKALS
Taking about half retarded, one ought to mention humshakals.
Both Sajid Khan and his movie rightfully own the worst film throne, killing the audience with comic scenes that at least they assumed very funny. Someone has to tell you Sajid khan, let it be me, they were not FUNNY.
The film was panned not only by the critics and audience but by its star cast too. Saif and Bipasha came out in the media and declared ‘Humshakals’ to be the biggest mistake of their careers. Sajid Khan faced a lot of flak for the film and became a butt of jokes.
The only funny angle of humshakals was the memes that flooded the web.
THE XPOSE
On No. 2, we have The Xpose’ starring Himesh Reshammiya as ‘Superhero’. What was supposed to be a thriller ended up being funny.
The movie managed to have some totally random and bizarre songs, the best being“Ice-cream khaoongi, Kashmir jaaongi”.
As if the serious poker face Himesh was not enough, the makers went an extra mile with the dialogues.
Random journalist: Sir, Bombay aake kaisa lag raha hai?
Ravi Kumar (Our Himesh Bhai): Bombay se poocho kaisa lag raha hai mujhse mil ke.
Seriously?
ACTION JACKSON
With double role and mistaken identities as the main plot, added with situations that defied logic completely, the movie redefined dumb. It’s botched up plot and clichéd characters, is a movie that seemed to belong to the 70s era and was mistakenly released in 2014.
Prabhudheva disappointed the audience with this one.
One special mention - In this film we are made to watch Ajay Devgn’s ‘dance’ (fighting with the gravity to be precise), which is nothing but downright cruel.
BANG BANG
A bad script very skillfully managed to dampen the impact of two gorgeous stars, beautiful locales and some jaw-dropping stunt scenes.
The movie is a disastrous remake of the English film ‘Knight and Day'.
What was not all that bad were the songs and Hrithik’s killer performance.
‘Bang Bang’ completely lacked soul!
'ONE BY TWO'
Justifying its name, the movie starred Abhay Deol and was even produced by him. Everything in this movie looked incomplete.
A dead movie was what it was.
BOBBY JASOOS
Vidya Balan as a detective roaming around old Hyderabad locales is the only thing that works in 'Bobby Jasoos'. The film’s narrative left the viewer irritated. The suspense in the climax scene was drab.
'CREATURE 3D'
The ‘brahmarakshas’ aka creature is the only thing that the film actually has.
The film tried too hard to make it creepy proving it to be a desperate attempt. The film certainly deserves credit for the special effects. But apart from that the movie had nothing new to offer.
On the whole, 'Creature 3D' failed to grip the audience’s interest.
DAAWAT-E-ISHQ
Apart from some good songs, the movie was totally off the track.
The audience choose to skip this daawat.
REVOLVER RANI
The movie's plot left the audience confused and cheated. The larger than life character of ‘Rani’ fell flat in front of a bad screenplay.
A bad attempt.
RAGINI MMS 2
Apart from Sunny Leone’s "Baby doll" which became an anthem song of 2014, the movie was way below the expectations. The Sunny Leone factor was the only thing that ran the shows.
Apart from these 10, you can save many more 2 and a half hours of your life by not watching other duds that include 'It's Entertainment', 'Bewakoofiyaan', 'Shaadi Ke Side Effects', 'Dishkiyaoon', 'Hate Story 2', 'Gunday', 'O Teri' and 'Kill Dill'.
2015 please be nice to us, all we ask are quality movies.
