Gaddam Gang Rajasekhar dream project

For long, Sai Kumar has been the voice of Rajasekhar but the latter says he was tempted to go on his own for his Friday release ‘Gaddam Gang’.

“In fact I dubbed for the film. Even Sai insisted that my voice is retained but I was not keen on taking any chances since it’s a prestigious film for me,” said the actor.

Accompanied by his wife Jeevitha and composer-actor Achu, he was speaking at a promotional event of the film in Hyderabad on Monday.

“The film got delayed because I was waiting for the right script. Audience will get to see a new Rajasekhar through the film,” he added.

Dubbing the movie as his dream project, he said, “I’ve realised my dream because of Jeevitha. It’s been two months since she got some sound sleep.

For the past three days she barely slept for 10 hours as she has been working round the clock monitoring the post-production activities.”

Jeevitha, on the other hand, said the film’s principal characters are very real and one can easily relate to them.

“For the past two-and-a-half decades, you’ve seen cop Rajasekhar running after the goons but this time around cops are after him and his group,” she chuckled.
