Junior NTR's Telugu movie "Temper" on Day one has debuted with an overwhelming response garnering huge collections at the box office worldwide and has beaten the record of Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh starrer ‘Gopala Gopala’ to become the biggest opener of 2015.


Jr. NTR’s ‘Temper’ has been in the limelight ever since its announcement made by director Puri Jagannath. The trailers, music and massive promotions of the movie seemed to have worked wonders as the audience has waited eagerly for the release. ‘Temper’ has been trending on social media a week before its release and the advance booking for the movie was open by the makers even before the Censor Board’s clearance. Opening Day’s tickets were sold out within hours of opening in many centres and registered more than 70% sale of tickets even in non- Telugu speaking areas in advance booking.


Released in over 1,400 screens around the world on February 13th, many ardent fans of Junior NTR did not miss the special screening of ‘Temper’ at 4.00 AM on Friday in various theatres across the country and registered not only 100% occupancy but received positive response both from movie buffs and critics.


‘Temper’ ran to packed houses in both the multiplexes and the single screens. Although the first day collections are yet to be revealed by the makers, but according to the trade experts , ‘Temper’ has collected around Rs. 9.68 crore at the box office in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. In other parts of India and worldwide, another Rs.5 Crore has been collected.


With approximately Rs. 15 crore collected at the box office worldwide, ‘Temper’ is the biggest opener for Jr. NTR smashing the record of ‘Gopala Gopala ‘and also Mahesh Babu’s ‘Aagadu’.
