He is a known director, producer and writer in B Town, who is behind making some of the best and creative movies including ‘My Friend Ganesha, 2, 3 and 4.’ Rajiv S Ruia made his dream project ‘My Friend Ganesha’ India’s first composite animation movie which was super hit among kids. It was telecasted more than 1000 times in satellite.
Following this Rajiv made the sequels of My Friend Ganesha2, 3 & 4. Continuing his favorite genre he directed ‘Main Krishna Hoon’ with Juhi Chawla, Hrithik Roshan (cameo) and Katrina Kaif (cameo). Having more than 18 years of experience of film making, Rajiv has won many acclaimed awards.
The Best Directorial Contribution to Indian Cinema "Maharashtra Gaurav Puruskar"(Heera Manik award) and from the Government of Rajasthan “Rajasthan Garav Puruskar” & ‘20th National Award’ (JAI) for ‘My Friend Ganesha’ recently Rajiv received one of the most prestigious award as best director ‘Dada Saheb Phalke Award’ from the governor of Maharashtra and Rakesh Roshan for the art movie ‘Flame- an untold love story’ (2014) he also won NIFF best international director award in 2014.
On present Rajiv has got 4 movies to be released "YUDH -Astitvachi ladai", My friend ganesha 4, Chor Bazzari & DIRECT ISHQ. On floor Rajiv is directing Hotel 2 the sequel of superhit Hotel ,Lord shanker,Saanse (horror movie)& VAMP
