“When I made different films people said I should have made a ‘Jayam’ kind of film and when I made a ‘Jayam’ kind of film, they said I’ve re-cycled ‘Jayam’ once again. Should I make a film like ‘Jayam’ or should I make a different film?” he asked.

He said he is getting irritated even at the name of ‘Jayam’. “Even my family members want me to make a film like ‘Jayam’. What should I say? It appears that my life started and ended with ‘Jayam’. I am getting irritated even to hear the word ‘Jayam’. There came a point when I felt, why I made it in the first place.”

He said that he has been branded as a love stories specialist despite making dramas like ‘Nijam’, ‘Oka Vichitram’ and ‘Jai’. “I made ‘Hora Hori’ thinking that it has no references to ‘Jayam’ but some are claiming that it has shades of ‘Jayam’.

I hereby declare that it will have shades of all my past films,” he asserted. “Please stop comparing it with my earlier films and watch it as a new film.” ‘Hora Hori’, starring newcomers Dileep and Dasksha, is a production of Damodar Prasad.
