NTR to play an IITian

After putting up one of his finest performances as a Brit in his last outing ‘Nannaku Prematho’, NTR is now set to play the role of a student. Apparently, the actor will be seen in the role of an IIT student in his forthcoming film ‘Janatha Garage’.

The actor’s penchant to get into the skin of the character has only buoyed the film’s director Koratala Siva to sketch an intense role. “When NTR heard his character sketch and the plot narration he was in for a pleasant surprise.

However, he was awestruck with the way his role and plot unfolds and was game to challenge himself to play a tech student,” said a source from the unit. The source added, “As the plot unfolds further, there will be a mass angle to the role.”

Seems like Koratala Siva, who goes a long way with NTR, has all bases covered -- at least as far as actor’s role is concerned while it remains to be seen how well the actor will physically transform on screen.

The action drama, which features Samantha and Nithya Menen as the leading ladies, went on floors recently while NTR, who is currently prepping up for the part, will join the sets in the first week of March.
