Chennai: Popular Telugu film stars such as Ravi Teja, Sudheer Babu and Lakshmi Manchu have heaped praise on the latest Telugu thriller "Kshanam", which has impressed critics and the audience alike.
Directed by debutant Ravikanth Perepu, the film stars Adivi Sesh, Adah Sharma, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Satyam Rajesh and Vennela Kishore.
"Actors Ravi Teja, Lakshmi Manchi, Sudheer Babu, Sundeep Kishan and Sushanth have all watched the film and flooded the makers with congratulatory messages," a source from the film's unit told IANS.
Directors such as Vamsi Paidipally, Dasari Maruthi and Sujeeth have lauded the work of youngster Ravikanth.
Adivi Sesh, who had penned the film's story, is thrilled with the response.
"We've already recovered our money. The entire team is extremely happy. I'm overwhelmed with the response from film lovers and even general public," Sesh told IANS.
The source added that actors Akkineni Nagarjuna and Mahesh Babu are keen to watch the film, which released in theatres last week.
An edge-of-the-seat thriller, PVP Cinema-produced "Kshanam" revolves around the disappearance of a young girl and the events that follow.
