Thaman dances to Mickey’s tunes

In what is a clear example of amity over competition, ace tunesmith SS Thaman recorded a song for 'Okka Ammayi Thappa', a Mickey J Meyer musical. Thaman's song introduces lead actor Sundeep Kishan’s character in the film. “It is a peppy number and I felt Thaman's voice would be apt for it. So when I asked him, he readily obliged. I thank him for being so gracious and sportive,” said Mickey.

Pending two songs, which will be shot by this month-end, the film has been wrapped up. Writer Rajasimha Thadinada is debuting as a director with 'Okka Ammayi Thappa', a commercial entertainer laced with fantasy elements. Nithya Menen is cast opposite Sundeep in the film, a joint venture between Madhavi Vasipalli and Bogadhi Anji Reddy.
