Telugu flick Oopiri is all set theatres tomorrow. The film is simultaneously releasing in Tamil as Thozha. A remake of the French film The Intouchables, the bilingual drama revolves around a quadriplegic millionaire and his uncouth caretaker.

We also hear that Shriya Saran, Anushka Shetty, Adivi Sesh, Gabriella Demetriades and Nora Fatehi make guest appearances in the movie.Vamsi Paidipally has directed the film produced by Prasad V Potluri. Gopi Sunder has composed the music.
Speaking about the film, Akkineni Nagarjuna had remarked: "This is high on comedy drama. It has been tailor-made to suit the sensibilities of Telugu and Tamil audiences.”
About the movie shooting experience, Nagarjuna told a news agency, “An assistant director was appointed just to check if I was moving my hands or legs even slightly while in the wheelchair. If I did, they’d re-shoot the scene again, as many times as it required. It was extremely challenging because at times my legs would go numb. For the emotional scenes, I told the crew to tie my hands and legs so that they will not move at any cost.”"
On the other hand, Karthi shared thus in an interview to an English daily: “The whole film was like a dream, from which you never want to wake up. There are some movies which give you fame, some which give you success but Oopiri is a film that will give you respect.”
"As soon as I learnt that Nagarjuna will be a part of Oopiri, I agreed to do the film. It was an unforgettable experience," he added.
Baahubali girl Tamannaah who was seen with Karthi in Awaara plays a secretary in Oopiri.
