AM Ratnam’s daughter-in-law turns a singer

S Aishwarya, who is bankrolling the Telugu film ‘Oxygen’, directed by her husband Jyothi Krishna (son of popular producer AM Ratnam), is set to discover her musical side with the home production.

The producer is making her singing debut in the under-shoot action entertainer starring Gopichand. Apparently, she recorded a couple of songs – a duet number and a family song – composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja for the film.

A source close to the unit reveals, “Aishwarya has a good voice and was earlier approached by several filmmakers to sing in Tamil films but she never gave it a thought. So director Jyothi Krishna decided to test her voice and upon liking it instantly, made her sing for a couple of numbers. The songs have come out very well.”
