Pavani Gangireddy might not be part of promotional blitzkrieg of ‘Right Right’, but the actress is extremely upbeat about her character striking a right chord with the audience. “I play a school teacher Amrutha who is well-respected by the villagers. It’s like a second heroine role and will be (very) identifiable. There are three guys who are after me to marry me and there’s a suspense angle to it too,” Pavani smiles.

‘Right Right’ is a remake of Malayalam film ‘Ordinary’ and Pavani informs that she had a ball shooting for the film. “We shot in Araku where there was hardly any cell phone network. We bonded really well and in fact, everyone was so immersed in chatting that the atmosphere resembled like a village. I, especially, bonded big time with Nasser garu who plays a father figure to me in the film. There were plenty of conversations about everything under the sun. We’ve even explored places in Munnar.”

Did the acclaimed actor dole out any tips to her? “He only asked me to speak little slowly. I’m aware that I speak very fast and at times do it on screen too but I’m working towards it.” Pavani, who is taking her baby steps in the industry, avers that she is improving by each film. “I’m learning with each new film. Also, it helps when you play dissimilar roles. I’m opening up more.” - NR
