Ganesh dubs for Nayaki

After Trisha crooned for her first ever number, we’ve learnt that the film’s protagonist Ganesh Venkatraman has dubbed on his own for ‘Nayaki’. Although the actor was part of a few Telugu films earlier, this is the first time he is making his voice heard, and it seems he has a reason to do so.

The film’s director Govardhan shares, “Since his character comes from other state, he should speak the Telugu with a different accent. I thought if he can dub for the lines it would seem natural.

I was pleased to see his approach towards the language – he learnt and understood the meaning of the lines so that he can express better.” Ganesh is paired opposite Trisha in the Telugu-Tamil bilingual retro horror comedy.
