Bollywood keeps Jyotii Sethi busy

Actress Jyotii Sethi, who made her debut with ‘Where is Vidya Balan’? last year, is looking forward to the release of her long-delayed endeavour ‘Happy Birthday’ which stars Sridhar Rao. A thriller it also sees Sanjjanaa Galrani playing a key role.

Talking about her part, Jyotii shares, “I play a career-driven woman who wants to become an actor come what may. She has an affair outsider her marriage with a director (played by Sridhar), causing the story to move forward as a thriller.”

For a large part of this year, Bollywood has kept Jyotii busy. While her film with Karan Hariharan, son of singer Hariharan, is scheduled to release shortly, she has also shot for ‘Phullu’ which sees Sharib Hashmi (of ‘Jab Tak Hain Jaan’ and ‘Filmistaan’ fame) in the lead. “A grand premiere is scheduled on September 8 in Vancouver. In India, it will release by the end of September,” she gushes.

Jyotii says she has also signed lyricist Sandeep Nath’s directorial debut. “It will star ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ fame Raayo S Bakhirta in the lead role and is a romantic comedy. Sanjay Mishra is also on board to play a key role. I will start shooting for it by the end of July.”
